[News] Congratulations to Prof. Chrysanthis for the Outstanding Achievements in Education Award!

Prof. Panos K. Chrysanthis has been recognized by the University of Massachusetts Amherst, College of Information and Computer Science for Outstanding Achievements in Education. He and seven other alumni of the school were honored in April 5, 2019 for achievements in education, entrepreneurship, research and management as well as computing for the common good and outstanding achievements by a young alumnus.

Prof. Panos K. Chrysanthis was an invited speaker at INRIA (the French national research institute for the digital sciences) in Paris, France, on March 5, 2019. His talked was titled "Graph Partitioning in Distributed Graph Computations" and focused on our group's repartitioners Argon [BigGraph 2016], Paragon [EDBT 2016], and Planar [ICDE 2016], and their applications to operator placement.
