About Cyprus

Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean sea with a population of around 700,000 and guaranteed sunshine of 330 days every year. Besides being an attractive tourist spot with beautiful beaches and home to impressive greek, roman, and medieval antiquities, Cyprus is a modern country due for joining the European Union in 2004. The island serves the whole of the Middle East as a business, service, communications and conference center, and is connected with daily flights to major European and Middle-East destinations, including London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Athens, Paris, Vienna, Rome, Tel Aviv and Cairo. Nicosia, the capital of the Republic of Cyprus, is a rather small city with pleasant, dry and sunny weather, low humidity, excellent services, and infrastructure.
