  • Oct 2003: Panos K. Chrysanthis is one of the guest editors of the special issues on "Mobile Data Management: achievements and opportunities" of IEEE Disrtibuted Systems Online (dsonline.computer.org) for the issues of October, November and December, 2003.

  • Oct 2003: Alex Labrinidis was an invited speaker in the NSF sponsored workshop on GeoSensor Networks (GSN'03) held on Oct. 8-11, 2003. The title of his talk was "Location-Aware In-Network Data Aggregation for Sensor Networks."

  • Oct 2003: Secure CITI: A Secure Critical Information Technology Infrastructure for Disaster Management.
    Our collaborative project with Pitt's Graduate School of Public and International Affairs has just been awarded an NSF ITR Medium Award (ANI-0325353).
