EDBT has served the database community with the organization of prestigeous conferences which are held every two years since 1988. The conferences provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to meet and exchange ideas, knowledge and experiences in the field.

In 2004 the conference will be held in Heraklion, Crete. We invite you to submit papers reporting research results in the general area of data base technologies, and to plan to attend the conference.
